Terms of service.
Effective 1 November 2026. These terms apply between you and Unity Design when you buy a website or the monthly plan from us.
1. Your website
We design and build a website for your business and share it with you on a private preview link. You don't pay anything until you choose to buy it. There is no deposit.
2. Previews
A preview link stays available for 21 days, unless we agree otherwise. Once you pay, or once it expires, we remove the preview.
3. Changes before you pay
You get two full rounds of free changes before you pay. A round is one list of changes sent together, and it can include images, wording, prices, information and design details. Extra rounds, or work that goes well beyond the original site, we quote first.
4. Price and payment
The website is a one-time payment of A$920. Payment is made through Stripe, and Afterpay or Zip may be available at checkout. We are not registered for GST, so no GST is charged. We launch the site once payment is received.
5. Ownership
Once you've paid in full, the website and its content are yours. Photos, logos and text you supply stay yours, and you confirm you have the right to use them.
6. Monthly plan (optional)
The monthly plan is A$49 a month and includes hosting and two full rounds of changes each month. The first 30 days are free. Unused rounds don't carry over. Larger additions, such as a new page, we quote first.
There's no lock-in. You can cancel any time and the plan ends at the end of the period you've already paid for.
7. Hosting
Sites on the monthly plan are hosted on Cloudflare. If you don't take the plan, or you cancel it, we hand the site over and help you move it to your own hosting once. After that, hosting and upkeep are up to you.
8. Domains and other services
Your domain stays in your name. If we register one for you, it's registered in your name. Domain fees and any outside services you choose, such as a booking or ordering system, are paid by you directly to that provider.
9. Refunds
Because you review and approve the full website before paying, we don't offer refunds for a change of mind once the site has been launched or handed over. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Our responsibility
We build every site with care, but we can't guarantee a particular number of visitors, bookings or sales. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
